Congratulations to Sac X for winning the 2004 Laserforce Space Marines 5 Tournament. Nationals is right around the corner, so the Nationals section of the website will be getting a facelift in the next couple of days. The plan is to have all the scores and stats uploaded daily so everyone around the world can see how the tournament is progressing. Hopefully I'll be able to keep to that promise *crosses fingers*. -xThanatoSx

Hm. If we were cool and trendy we'd have some funny April Fools joke up here. We're not that cool or trendy. The only real update of note over the last several days is me getting pics from the 2003 AU/NZ Nats online. Click the Pics link in the menu bar to check those out. Where to start with today's update... 1) More site profiles are online 2) More player profiles are online If yours isn't up, stop being lazy and send it to me at xThanatoSx@lfboards.com. 3) The pictures page is starting to be populated As soon as I'm able to resize the jpg's for the menu bar (*smacks Ama for making them the wrong size*), it'll have a menu bar. No, we haven't forgotten about the main content areas of the boards. Real life has merely been taking more and more time lately for both Amaprotu and me. The site list is now up. A few more things: 1. Please note the new Rules section on the sidebar menu. This contains all of the Laserforce League/Tournament rules. Look, download, then go discuss on the message board. 2. Sacred has the 1st LF-3D demo posted - grab it Here!! You will need the DIVX codec to view the demo - grab it at divx.com if it's not already installed on your system. If you haven't already registered for the forums, now would be a great time to do so. - xThanatoSx

New Buttons / New Content / Player Profiles I made some new buttons for the site. I am on a fast connection though, so let me know if the download times are a problem. I also got some new forum icons from rattle which I will take a shot of getting up later. Then we can vote. :) We also have some LF-3D stuff going up now, courtesy of Sacred, which is great. Check it out. Its a really cool project we are glad to support. I will shortly be posting a poll in the Website Features/Issues about the player profiles. Namely whether we want a seperate entity, or something integrated into the forum profiles. Keep your eyes open. Also if you have any ideas or comments about the site, its design or content, please let us know either in that forum or via private message. - Amaprotu

Just a few things: 1. Continuing to clean up the html files of the game descriptions. Suffice it to say this is tedious - But it's almost done. After the normal games are done, I'll start creating the game documents for the custom games. 2. I just figured out how to do the stats pages in .php so they match the rest of the site - without using Microsoft products to screw up the html. Thanks to Draco (Auckland) for suggesting OpenOffice as a possible solution for my text to .html problems - it works quite well. 3. Should be some LF-3D stuff happening soon - keep watching this space. - xThanatoSx

Very funny. The game descriptions and stats menus are done, along with the rules. I'm still debating whether to format the actual stats .txt files like everything else - but that's a decision for another day. Things that are going to be worked on over the next few days: - Cleaning up the code in the game documents html *reminds self never to use Front Page again* - Getting Brisbane C-Grade stats posted - Thank you to Flamedrake for getting those to me - Getting custom game files online. Again - We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to work on this site. The positive feedback we've been getting is fantastic. - xThanatoSx
